math part one

5. d – first take the two factors of 24 that is 3 & 8. Then apply to find out divisibility by 3 & 8 one by one. Easily you get the answer is d.

6. c – nothing here to explain

7. b – As 999/6=166.5, so here 166 number are divisible by 6. Again, you think, you include also up to 99 that should be deducted. 99/6=16.5, so here 16 numbers are divisible by 6. Hence the answer will be 166-16=150.

8. b - Here the sum of digit of 2343, 5286, 5340, 7347, 8115, 9276 is divisible by 3 only not by 9, so 6 numbers of the list are not divisibility by 9 & ans.

9. b - we know very well that the prime numbers start from 2 (this is the only even & prime number- remember)

10. b - this is a series of cube of 1,2,3,4,5,6 & the next will be cube of 7 that is 343.

11. b – the odd & even are related differently in this series. Here 9 numbers are given, so we have to find out the 10th number which is related in the way of the next is 2 less than the previous one. Hence 7,5,3,1 the the next number will be 1-2= -1 & ans

12. c – just think like question no.11, you will get 12,14, and after that 16.

13. b - every umber is divisible by 11 except 269

14. c – Every one is a cube of a number except 123
